Three of Tarsier Records\u2019 up-and-coming talents Tonie Enriquez, dotty, and Dave Anonuevo have collaborated for the heavenly love song \u201cNo One Else<\/a>,\u201d set to be released this Friday (February 11) on various music platforms.<\/p>\n

Written from the perspective of a \u2018hopeful romantic,\u2019 \u201cNo One Else\u201d is the perfect tune to blast on Valentine\u2019s Day as it explores the concept of love\u2019s risks but having someone worth trying it out for anyway.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis song is about liking someone but you don’t know if you’re gonna go for it or not,\u201d said Tonie, adding, \u201cI get butterflies from the chorus, it’s like I’m confessing to my crush, \u2018Hey, I’m not perfect but I like you,\u2019 you know? So if you’re trying to woo your crush this Valentine\u2019s, this song is perfect for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tonie said Dave experimented with different sounds and leads while producing the song but they ultimately decided on a pop\/R&B style, which was made better by dotty\u2019s catchy rap verse.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really just built off the lyrics and overall vibe Tonie and Dave came up with for the track, so writing my verse was honestly super easy as a result. I generally don’t listen to pop\/EDM music or tracks with this kind of beats, so this was a first,\u201d dotty said.<\/p>\n

Before \u201cNo One Else,\u201d Singapore-based artists Tonie and Dave and rapper dotty were announced as part of Tarsier\u2019s Class of 2021. Tonie and Dave first teamed up for the pop-electronic song \u201clove ain\u2019t real<\/a>\u201d in March last year, with Dave also producing fellow Tarsier artist Zion Aguirre\u2019s hit song \u201cFallin<\/a>\u2019\u201d after. Meanwhile, dotty has released two singles in 2021, \u201ctalk about<\/a>\u201d and \u201cdon\u2019t trip<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
